Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan handed the key to a new flat to the Balyans family which has five children under age. The Balyans have taken active part in the republican competition “Best sport family” for the RA President’s award and in 2013 won the prize becoming the best sport family of the year. They have been waiting for a flat for years. At the suggestion of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan the Council of Elders, during the meeting held on February 10 unanimously voted for granting the Yerevan community-owned flat N 73 at Margaryan street 37 to the family of Hayk Balyan by the right of ownership. Congratulating the balyans Mayor Taron Margaryan expressed confidence that following the example of their family the number of families leading healthy lifestile and going in for sport will increase.
“The Municipality is ready to support all the citizens who contribute both in sport and cultural life activation and spreading the idea of healthy lifestyle. In your case we particularly appreciate your having many children as we have always attached importance to this aspect, and I assure you that we will go on supporting all our citizens who have many children families”, said Taron Margaryan wishing that the new flat will become for the Balyans a strong castle full of love and warmth and they will live there a happy and healty life.
Hayk Balyan expressed gratitute on behalf of his family to Mayor Taron Margaryan and to the Council of Elders for this action of great social significance and stressed that their family with five children under age had needed a flat for years. “Having a flat seemed to us an unreal dream. And today, Mister mayor, you have just made our dream come true and we are coardially grateful for it”, said Hayk Balyan.
