To make building sites organization correspond to urban conditions it was offered to set additional requirements in projects by corresponding decision of the Council of Elders of Yerevan. This was reported to Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan during the regular working conference. In particular, it was offered to include in projects the terms for the form and size of enclosures of building sites, temporary passages and lighting, as well as the night lighting of already built storeys. Besides, it was provided to set additional road signs outside the building site. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed all persons in charge to set strict control over the process and keep it at the focus of attention. It was reported that the previous week 77 administrative records had been drawn up regarding wastes dumping in undetermined places. The Mayor instructed to go on systematic work and to inform the public about the locations of such violations.
“We must struggle together against such vicious occurrences. The bodies of local self-government have corresponding powers and must use all possibilities to get the desirable result”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
Regarding the phone calls received by the hot lines operating in the Municipality subdivisions and the staffs of the heads of administrative districts last week it was reported that the total number of calls was 172. 132 issues got their solutions, the rest 42 are being processed.
On the event of the Armenian Army day the capital will get festival decoration, festive events will be organized as well. It was also reported that the events will be held in educational and cultural establishments subordinated to the Municipality of Yerevan.
