Within the frames of the program of social support «Yerevan is my home» and on the occasion of the Day of Elderly People 22 residents of Yerevan aged 100 and older got pleasant surprises. The persons in charge of the Municipality of Yerevan and the administrative districts visited then and congratulated them on behalf of the Mayor of Yerevan and wishing them strong health handed them presents. The program is realized on the initiative of Mayor Taron Margaryan within the frames of the actions to be carried out within the scope of "Erebuni-Yerevan 2796" celebration. There are Genocide survivors among these persons. Having thanked for the attention and care the elderly people, their children and relatives noted that they even hadn't dreamt of such a surprise. They really needed such presents and particularly the household appliances will make their everyday life easier.
