Yerevan Municipality and the Italian company “Terena Skavi” signed the treaty on the construction of the road segment Babajanyan-Ashtarak which will be realized within the frames of the program of construction of Yerevan west bypass road.
the trety was signed by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan and the authorized representative of “Terena Skavi” Giacomo Lombardi.
Stressing the importance of the new road construction Taron Margaryan outlined that it plays an important role in the issue of relieving the center of the capital. The authorized representative of “Terena Skavi” Giacomo Lombardi in his turn assured that everything would be done so that the work could be done in determined time and with proper quality.
It should be noted that the construction of the road segment Babajanyan-Ashtarak is going to be started in the beginning of 2018. The time of finishing the work is 24 months. Totaal length is about 9.4 km, average width is 24 m.
After putting the road into operation the administrative district Ajapnyak will be connected with Malatia Sebastia district.
The motorway will correspond with international standards of quality. During the construction all necessary communications will be replaced from the carriage way, and the road will be equipped with LED lamps.
