During the working meeting in the City Hall which was conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan, the head of Legal Department Zaven Arakelyan reported that 27 administrative protocols had been drawn up the previous week for wastes dumping in inappropriate areas.

Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to carry on the control in this direction subjecting those who is responsible for violations to administrative sanctions.
“Everyday consistent work must be carried on in this direction. I also expect support from corresponding structures which in their turn must be very active and strict. People must understand that in case of dumping household or building wastes in inappropriate areas they will be subjected to administrative sanctions. The procedure of drawing up administrative protocols must be kept under control as well”, said Taron Margaryan.
Referring to illegal open-air trade prevention activities and considering them to be unsatisfactory Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to activate them presenting the measures taken in this regard to public and informing on the administrative punishments provided for violations.
“I expect consistent and coordinated work of the heads of administrative districts, Department of Trade, Yerevan Police. Such situation is unacceptable in out city. Set concrete task before you and solve it applying all the means delegated to you by the law. Everybody is well aware of my position in this regard. Both the violator and the responsible person who pays no attention to illegal open-air trade must be punished. Administrative sanctions for violations are unavoidable. Everyone without exceptions must work following this attitude”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
