Solemn meeting of scientific council of Armenian-Russian University
President Serzh Sargsyan was present at the solemn meeting of the scientific council dedicated to the 20th anniversary of Armenian-Russian University. On the event of 20th anniversary of Armenian-Russian University foundation, for significant contribution to science and education development Serzh Sargsyan awarded a number of representatives of the university faculty with high state awards.
Before starting the solemn meeting of the council the President of the Republic accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the RA Minister of Education and Science, the University Rector and the RF Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Armenia walked about the premises of the University, familiarized himself with the conditions provided for modern high-quality education. The President of the Republic was also presented the process of construction of the new building of Armenia-Russian University and the University basic school “Usmunk”.
