Yerevan Chief Architect Tigran Barseghyan, Mayor’s Advisor Vahagn Vermishyan, Mayor’s Advisor, the Chief Designer of Yerevan Garnik Amatunyan and the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of External Design and Advertising Araz Baghdasaryan had a video call conference with eminent architect, urban design consultant Jan Gehl.

The strategy of Yerevan external look and urban environment development was discussed with the specialist from Denmark. Simultaneously the agreement was made according to which Jan Gehl will visit Yerevan in February to get acquainted with the situation on the spot and to provide consulting.
It should be noted that the “Gehl Architects” company founded by Jan Gehl worked out urban environment guidelines for San Francisco, New York, Copenhagen, Moscow and more than 20 big cities.
