On the event of the New Year and Christmas holidays, within the frames of “New Year in Yerevan 2018” program the municipal museums were open for townspeople and guests of the capital from January 2 to 7. The museums are Yerevan History Museum, Modern Art Museum and the historical and archaeological reserve-museum “Erebuni”. The New Year exhibition “Once upon a time there were three firs” was organized in Yerevan History Museum and numerous schoolchildren attended it. According to Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture, during the mentioned period about 350 visitors mostly from Russia, Italy, USA, Thailand and a number of Arabic countries visited the municipal museums.
