The Children’s Philharmonic after Yu. Bakhshyan started the concerts of the jubilee year

Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan was present at the first concert of the children’s symphonic orchestra of the Children’s Philharmonic after Yu. Bakhshayn. The concert was dedicated to the jubilee year of the Philharmonic. The widow of Yuri Bakhshyan, a member of the Council of Elders of Yerevan Anahit Bakhshyan, the leader and conductor of the Public Radio Symphonic Orchestra of Armenia Yervand Yerznkyan, members of the Children’s Philharmonic of different ages, composers were present at the event.

The Children’s Philharmonic after Yuri Bakhshyan which is subordinated to the Municipality of Yerevan, rooted from Schoolchildren’s Philharmonic which was created in 1956 due to the efforts of composer Vladilen Balyan and the initiative of the art council of composer Edward Mirzoyan. The Children’s Philharmonic was re-opened in 1994 due to the RA NA delegate Yuri Bakhshyan. The art director of the Children’s Symphonic Orchestra is Stepan Gevorgyan. The 20th jubilee of the Children’s Philharmonic is completed this autumn but the jubilee concerts have started since April. The playlist includes the compositions by Arno Babajanyan, Artemy Ayvazyan, Konstantin Orbelyan, Martin Vardazaryan and other Armenian and foreign composers.
