Urban development
With
the purpose of fulfilment of requirements of the RA Government Decision
N 2330, dated 15.12.2005, on the approval of the general plan of the
city of Yerevan, in 2006 the RA Government made the Decision N1402-Н,
dated 07.09.2006, "On approving the program of basic measures for
implementation of the general plan (2006-2020) of the city of Yerevan".
The program includes the following sectors:

- architecture and urban development,
- ecology,
- transportation,
- construction, site improvement and utilities,
- trade and services,
- culture and sport,
- education,
- public health and social security,
- real property management.
Development of basic programs for implementation of the general plan is
planned for 2006-2009. The program provides for review of the
implementation of the General plan in 2006, 2007, 2008, based on which
it is planned for 2009 to make an analysis of implementation of the
general plan 2005 and the adjustment of the construction program to be
completed by 2020.
