Electronic timetable systems will be installed in bus stop zones


Electronic timetable systems corresponding to European standards will be installed in bus stop zones of the capital and give the residents an opportunity to get information on the sequence and intervals of the transportation means. During the regular working conference Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to present the corresponding program regarding the systems in parallel with operation of the new route network. The head of the Transport Department reported that  while going on everyday control over the quality of public transport service they had recorded a number of violations regarding which administrative records had been drawn up. It was also reported that the regular competitions for Yerevan intra-urban bus minibus regular transportation itineraries had been held.



The Mayor instructed to re-consider the state of drain pipes and to inventory all the yard areas and secondary streets in the capital where there are accumulations of rain water. It was reported that improvement, painting and washing of the front parts of the buildings in the capital will be finished before the established term. Yard improvement and installation of children’s and sport games  going on in the administrative districts had come the final stage. According to the program, 74 children’s games and 400 units of sport equipment are to be installed in yard areas.



To avoid possible tree falling down during winds the Mayor instructed to inventory the number of dry trees in the capital and performs sanitary pruning.
To make tree liming and treatment activities more active it was instructed to involve in them public structures as well. With the aim of re-operation of the fountains in the capital Taron Margaryan instructed to go on negotiations with investors. The director of «Yerkaghluys» SCJSC reported that they are going on to provide the gardens and parks with night lighting and to eliminate the existing defects jointly with the entities rented the areas. In parallel, negotiations are being carried out with corresponding structures towards installation of WiFi systems in the parks and gardens.




"All the conditions should be provided for the organization of recreation of the residents. We should have no unlit parks, gardens or yards in the capital", noted Taron Margaryan and instructed to inventory all the recreation zones in the administrative districts which need night lighting and to take actions towards elimination of defects in possibly short terms.
It was reported that repairing of porches of buildings is going on within the joint program of administrative districts and condominiums. Strict control is going on over protecting the benches and items made of cast iron placed in the capital. Taking into account the complaints received from residents concerning stray animals the Mayor instructed to be more consistent and provide the population's safety by the company won the competition.
