School of gymnastics after Albert Azaryan is being repaired
To get to know about the activity and problems of the municipal sport establishments as well as about the conditions created for athletes and coaches the Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Tigran Virabyan initiated a visit of the RA Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Gevorg Loretsyan and the RA NA delegate, world champion, silver medalist of Olympiad Arsen Julfalakyan to a number of sport schools. The Children’s and Youth’s School of Gymnastics of Olympic Reserve after Albert Azaryan, which has a 55-year-old history, is being repaired within the frames of the municipal program. The sport school achieved a number of highest results at international arenas hasn’t been repaired since the day of its renovation.
The officials also visited the Children’s and Youth” Complex Sport School of Shengavit, the Children’s and Youth” Complex Sport School of Malatia Sebastia and Children’s and Youth’s Sport School of Arabkir in Yerevan. The sport school of Shengavit is in a bad condition. No renovation has been fulfilled in this school having nearly 1200 pupils. The possibilities of renovation and improvement of the schools have been discussed on the spot with the heads of the establishments. Deputy Mayor Tigran Virabyan noted that the city authorities pay particular attention to improvement of facilities in sport schools and development of different kinds of sport. Such working visits will be continued.
