On April 19, within the frames of cooperation in the sphere of defense of two Armenian republics, the RA Minister of Defense David Tonoyan, the RA Minister of Territorial Administration and Development Suren Papikyan, the heads of RA provinces (marzpets), Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan, representatives of the Ministry of Defense and the General Headquarters of the AF visited Artsakh.
During the visit, on April 20 trainings were held in the Headquarters of the Army in the frames of experience exchange in defense and civil readiness system and efficiency increase in the interaction between two republics. A visit to the frontier units of the army was organized afterwards. There the Minister of Defense of Artsakh Major-General Karen Abramyan presented the character of possible actions of the enemy and the most effective methods of responding to them.
On the second day the delegation visited the military units located in the north-eastern part and congratulated the servicemen on Holy Easter, got to know about the operative and tactic situation, familiarized themselves with the problems of military duties in the conditions of direct contact with the enemy, revealed the peculiarities of interaction between the heads of neghbouring administrative districts and military units.
