Yerevan Mayor’s Assistant Maria Baraghamyan who coordinates the sphere of tourism, the head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture Ruben Hovhannisyan and the head of tourism unit Gevorg Orbelyan hosted the head of Villena (Spain) Municipality tourism unit Mersedes Menor Sezpedes who arrived from Spain to participate in “Yerevan TARAZfest” 4th festival.
Greeting the participation of Villena Municipality in the festival, Mayor’s Assistant Maria Baraghamyan said during the meeting in Yerevan City Hall that “Yerevan TARAZfest” is one of the three main festivals with touristic component organized by Yerevan Municipality tourism unit, therefore it’s highly important that the representatives of other cities of the world take part in the festival, particularly this year when Yerevan is celebrating its jubilee.
The head of Villena Municipality tourism unit Mrs Mersedes Menor Sezpedes in her turn thanked for warm welcome and said that she had watched the festivals organized the previous years and she is glad that this year they are going to take part in the festival to be held on August 4 to present the Spanish national costumes and culture.
During the meeting the parties also discussed the issues referred to finding new aspects for cooperation and strengthening the partnership between the two cities in the sphere of tourism.
