I’d like to congratulate you on your professional holiday-World Press Freedom Day.
For 25 years May 3 has been announced by the United Nations Organization as the World Press Freedom Day which in its turn stresses the necessity of freedom of speech, and importance of freedom of press and journalistic activity. Before the establishment of our independent statehood and afterwards we have made sure many times that freedom of press plays vital role in the development of our country. And today we can state that mass media have become an important component of legal and democratic progress of Armenia.
