The First Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Hrachya Sargsyan met with the delegation headed by the regional director of Asian Development Bank representation Shane Rosental. Referring to the cooperation established between Yerevan Municipality and Asian Development Bank Hrachya Sargsyan attached importance to all the programs aimed at Yerevan development, ensuring the welfare and comfort of the population. The First Deputy Mayor presented the priorities and mentioned that the Municipality is interested in programs proposals aimed at the transport system reform. Particularly, it regards transport network modernization, introduction of alternative transport means (bicycles, electromobile and so on), parking arrangement, directions which can solve the problems rooted in the sphere due to unified approach.

Emphasizing the willingness of Yerevan Municipality to expand the cooperation the regional director of Asian Development Bank representation noted that Yerevan has got new opportunities which can promote effective cooperation promotion.
Speaking about the directions of possible cooperation Yerevan First Deputy Mayor installation of “Smart city” concept which will make it possible to provide effective management due to application of modern technologies in a number of spheres of the city economy.
