24-hour duty has been set to ensure proper organization of the events to be held within the frames of the 17 Summit of Francophonie

During the working meeting in the City Hall the First Deputy Mayor, acting Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan was reported that within the frames of the 17th International Summit of Francophonie to be held in Yerevan all municipal services and structures in charge are going on to take tight control. In this regard it was instructed to carry on 24-hour duty and activities in the areas where the events are to be taken.

Regarding restoration of damaged city property, improvement of streets, repairing of roofs and entrances of blocks of flats provided for within Yerevan Municipality programs scheduled for 2018 it was reported that the activities are going on in accordance with the schedule. It was instructed to carry on the control over the quality and terms of the activities. It was also reported that the program of wheelchair ramps construction provided for within Yerevan Municipality programs of 2018 had been completed. In particular, instead of planned 176 ramps 1998 ones were constructed. At the end of the working meeting, referring to the events started since October 7 within the scope of the 17th International Summit of Francophonie corresponding departments, services of Yerevan Municipality staff and heads of administrative districts were instructed by Kamo Areyan to set 24-hour duty to ensure proper organization and holding of Francophonie Summit.
