Privileges in property tax for a number of social groups: regular meeting of Council of Elders has been held
At today’s meeting of the Council of Elders the draft decision on giving privileges in property tax was approved. According to the draft decision, privileges were given to the veterans of the Great Patriotic War, to the families of the fallen in Artsakh and Afghanistan wars as well as to the families of those who were injured during the defence of the Republic of Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh and later passed away as a result of the injuries; to the 1st and 2nd group disabled during Artsakh and Afghanistan wars, as well as to the “Union of Deaf of Armenia” and “Union of Blind of Armenia” NGOs.

Square of Europe in Yerevan
On the event of the 70th anniversary of foundation of the Council of Europe, the square located in the middle of Northern avenue will be named Square of Europe. The Council of Elders confirmed the draft decision.
Devices announcing bus stops to be installed on city buses
Special devices announcing the names of bus stops will be installed in the cabins of city buses for people with visual impairment.
