During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall the First Deputy Mayor, acting Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan was reported that the construction of wheelchair ramps to be fulfilled within Yerevan Municipality programs provided for 2018 had been completed. Instead of planned 176 ramps 181 ones were constructed. It was also reported that the renovation of the children and youth creation center in Erebuni district was completed too.

Regarding improvement of yards, renovation of entrances, roofs and damaged balconies of blocks of flats it was reported that the activities are going on in accordance with the schedule.
Referring to landscaping activities the head of Nature Protection Department reported that the process is going on in parks and squares of administrative districts. It was instructed to keep the process of irrigation and care for green zones at the focus of special attention.
During the meeting it was also reported that the previous week 381 phone calls were received via “hot lines” functioning in the City hall. 346 of the raised issues got appropriate solutions. 123 phone calls were received via “hot lines’ functioning in the staffs of administrative districts. 92 of them were settled, the rest are being processed. It was instructed to keep the phone calls received via “hot lines” under permanent control.
At the end of the meeting the corresponding departments of the Municipality staff and the heads of administrative districts were assigned by Kamo Areyan to strengthen the control over the quality and terms of the construction activities going on in the capital. It was also instructed to get ready for proper organization and holding of the festive events dedicated to Armenia’s Independence Day on September 21.
