Hayk Marutyan to hold citizens’ reception
Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan held a regular reception of citizens. The Mayor familiarized himself with the problems raised by citizens, heard out their proposals and comments. The Mayor on the spot gave corresponding explanations and instructions to some problems. As regards the problem of trade pavilions the Mayor stated that no new pavilions will be located in the capital and the illegal ones will be dismantled. Concerning the problem of illegal construction Hayk Marutyan re-stated his position that legalization of illegal construction is impossible.
Expressing gratitude to the residents for proposals and comments mayor Marutyan noted that in near future the residents of Yerevan will have the opportunity to submit their proposals and projects to the Municipality which will finance the best projects from the city budget. With this aim the amount of USD 1 million in Armenian dram equivalent will be disbursed. An online platform will be created via which the residents will present their proposals. The projects posted on the platform will be available for everyone and the citizens will be able to choose best of them.
