Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan hosted the Charge d’Affairs of the Embassy of Sweden to Armenia Martin Fredericson. Greeting the guest, the Mayor noted that there is a noticeable potential for development of bilateral ties between Yerevan and the cities of Sweden. The Mayor marked that he expected interaction in a number of issues related to urban economy development, and stressed that the priority problems for Yerevan are recycling and transport improvement.

“Sustainable cities” event is going to be held in Yerevan from 8 to 9 of March, 2019. Hayk Marutyan noted that the theme is very actual for all cities and claimed that Yerevan Municipality is ready to show support to the Embassy in the issue of the organization of the event.
Martin Fredericson in his turn expressed readiness to assist in development of cooperation between the cities.
