Mayor Hayk Marutyan takes part in the clean-up action together with his family
Yerevan Mayor took part in the republican-wide clean-up action together with his family. Hayk Marutyan expressed gratitude to all the residents who joined the action of clean-up and tree-planting stressing that the care of each resident is necessary for having a clean city.
“The population is taking active part and it is inspiring. If a resident take part in the clean-up at least once he/she will never throw away any litter in inappropriate place. We gradually start realizing that it is our city and unless we keep it clean ourselves no company can help here. Clean-up actions are a good occasion to communicate with family and I take this opportunity. One of my children is taking part in the action together with classmates, the other will join us after lessons”, said the Mayor of the capital.
