Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the members of Yerevan team of the subject Olympiad of Metropolises

Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan hosted the participants of Yerevan team of the subject Olympiad of Metropolises held in Moscow for the first time. In overall score Yerevan schoolchildren got the 2nd place and were awarded with the cup and the corresponding diploma. According to individual results they won 4 silver and 2 bronze medals. Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan the headmaster of the school with physics and mathematics bias after Artashes Shahinyan Haykaz Navasardyan, the headmaster of “Quantum” college Robert Vardanyan and the team leaders were present at the meeting too.

Greeting the pupils of the school and the college Mayor Taron Margaryan greeted them with the high results. The Mayor also attached importance to the teachers' work as the significant achievements of the children
are the result of their efforts.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome the pupils promised to do their best to uphold the honour of Yerevan.
At the end of the meeting the cup and the diploma were handed to Yerevan Mayor. Taron Margaryan assured that they will find their place in the corresponding collection of Yerevan History Museum. It should be noted
that schoolchildren from 14 to 18 years old from 22 cities of 18 countries participated in the subject Olympian of Metropolises in Moscow. The Olympiad is held to reveal talented pupils in metropolises who are interested
in mathematics, physics, informatics and chemistry.
