The RA President Serzh Sargsyan and the First Lady Rita Sargsyan were present at the ceremony of opening of the RA Ministry of Health Center of Hematology after prof. R. Yeolyan. Accompanied by Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan, the RA Minister of Health Levon Altunyan, the heads of leading medical establishments of the republic, the head of Yerevan office of the World bank and other guests the RA President and his wife Rita Sargsyan walked about the premises of the only specialized leading establishment in Armenia engaged in diagnostics and treatment of blood diseases, familiarized themselves with the work done, with the conditions provided for high-quality medical services and talked about the current activity and further plans of the center with the administration and the personnel of the center.

The persons in charge informed that the Center of Hematology now includes the department of bone marrow transplantation and a laboratory of stem cells of regional significance. The program was implemented by the charity foundation “Grant Life” under the sponsorship of the Honorary Chair of the Board of trustees of the foundation Mrs Rita Sargsyan.
The seven-storey building of the center has been renovated, a new three-storey building has been built as well. The modernization was fulfilled by the RA ministry of Health by means of the RA government and the World Bank. Now the medical center provides up-to-date, high-quality available services. The center is provided with modern medical equipment.
Due to installed automated systems the circle of services provided by the center will be significantly expanded. In the conditions of competitive price policy the high-quality services will be available for patients arrived from abroad.
The President of the Republic together with Yerevan Mayor, the RA Minister of Culture, the Chairman of the State Urban Development Committee, distinguished culture figures and guests was present at the ceremony of opening of the completely renovated House-museum of M. Saryan. Serzh Sargsyan accompanied by the administration of the museum and the guests walked about the premises, familiarized himself with the results of the work done and talked to the employees of the museum. The capital renovation started in May, 2013 was completed in November 2016. The House-museum corresponds to modern requirements, all necessary conditions for high-quality servicing of the visitors, for implementation of scientific and educational programs have been provided here.
