On the event of the Day of MES employees, Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan hosted a number of employees. Congratulating the rescuers on the professional holiday, the Mayor expressed gratitude for their devoted and responsible work.

Be sure that the Municipality is always next to this organization. I think that our two organizations are a single entity. We ensure the populations’ security. Our cooperation and proper coordination of teamwork were proven during the explosion in Raynis street occurred recently. Your work is certainly the most difficult as you put your lives at risk to save other lives. But you can be sure that we will always be next to you to show any support”, stressed the Mayor.
On the event of the day, for efficient activity in the sphere of population’s protection, prevention of emergency situations, elimination of possible consequences and rapid response the director of the Rescue Service of the RA MES Vrezh Gabrielyan has been awarded with Yerevan Mayor’s Gold medal. A number of employees of the Rescue Service have been awarded with Yerevan Mayor’s honorary diplomas for their high professionalism and successful service.
