Families and coaches of Yerevan team won in “Best sport family 2018” competition have been awarded
The First Deputy Mayor, acting Mayor of Yerevan Kamo Areyan handed the diplomas and souvenirs to the families and coaches of Yerevan team won in “best sport family 2018” competition held at the stadium of the main Olympic sport complex in Tsaghkadzor on July 23-28.
Congratulating the participants of the sport event Kamo Areyan thanked the families, coaches of Yerevan team, the representatives of the sport division of Yerevan Municipality for upholding the honour of the capital and wished them strong health and further achievements. Particular importance was attached to the participation of disabled sportsmen as the full members of our society. Special attenction was paid to the representative of the Gevorgyans family-little Anna, who hurt her foot at the beginning of the competition, but having a strong will was able to carry on her participation contributing to the victory of Yerevan team.
The captain of Yerevan team Erik Vardanyan thanked the persons in charge of the Municipality for providing proper participation of the team. The victory was dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation. The captain handed the Cup to Kamo Areyan who in his turn passed it to be kept in Yerevan History Museum.
It should be noted that Yerevan team has won the competition for the 7th time.
