During the weekly working meeting in Yerevan City Hall t was reported that as a result of everyday control in the sphere of urban development and land use 11 cases of illegal construction an land occupation had been revealed the previous week. All revealed illegal constructions were dismantled. The Department of Urban Development and Land Control, the public security service and the heads of administrative districts were assigned by Mayor Taron Margaryan to strengthen the control in this regard.

“Maximally strengthen the control and supervise that no one dared to make use of the situation. We have taken all necessary measures to simplify the processes in this field. Accordingly, no attempt of illegal construction can be acceptable for us”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
It was also reported during the meeting that by the instruction of the Mayor of the capital public WCs are being installed in the areas of touristic interest. In particular, in 3 plots of the 5 allotted ones in Kentron administrative district the installation is currently going on. It has been instructed to finish all the activities in teamwork with the private sector. It was also reported that the second stage of the reconstruction of the park adjacent to Main Avenue, is coming to the end. The repairing of “Erebuni-Yerevan 2750” park as well as the construction of the park dedicated to the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation in Erebuni administrative district are going on in accordance with the schedule.
Besides it was reported that the activities planned by Yerevan Municipality to be implemented in 2018 are going on in accordance with the schedule. Mayor Taron Margaryan once again instructed to carry on the strict control over the process and quality of the work done.
