During the working conference Yerevan Mayor Hayk Marutyan reported that 461 phone calls had been received the previous week via the hot lines functioning in Yerevan Municipality. The majority of the calls (61 ones) related to the problem of stray animals. Referring to the issue Mayor Hayk Marutyan said that a new tender is to be announced for the company engaged in neutralization of stray animals and the requirements corresponding to international standards will be set.
The Mayor was also reported that all building sites are being inventoried to provide necessary conditions for their arrangement. Hayk Marutyan instructed to form a working group and to reconsider the norms of building sites organization.
A number of instructions were given regarding proper organization of the work of relevant spheres and services on festive days. In particular, taking into account the active movement of people on festive days Mayor Marutyan instructed to set control over public transport work. To ensure uninterrupted work of the systems of life maintenance the Mayor instructed the persons in charge to coordinate the activities in cooperation with “Yerevan Jur”, “Yerevan gas” and “Electricity lines of Armenia” companies, and in case of emergency situations to settle the problems rapidly. The communal services, the heads of administrative districts and “Sanitek” company were instructed to control wastes removal on festive days. The municipal medical establishments are also instructed to work in strengthened regime. Duties will also be set in educational establishments to ensure uninterrupted water and energy supply.
