Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan conducted a working meeting with the staff of Malatia Sebastia administrative district within the frames of which the head of the district Artak Aleksanyan presented the report on the work done in 2017 and the activities planned for the current year. Artak Aleksnyan particularly outlined the programs of housing fund preservation, renovation of municipal establishments, social assistance, improvement of yards and parks, landscaping. it was noted that a number of programs were realized within the frames of cooperation between the community and private sector. Recreation zones and entertainment centers were opened in the district. The cooperation with Artsakh districts, RA provinces and foreign partner cities was continued.

Presenting the plans for 2018 Artak Aleksanyan noted that this year everything will be done to implement all outlined programs and expand the frames of cooperation with the private sector.
Generally estimating the work done by the district as positive, Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to keep the feedback with the residents under permanent control.
Providing and strengthening the feedback with the residents must be considered a priority. You must assist our residents, hear out their problems and find solutions to them. Even if the problems are beyond our competition each member of our team must become a mediator between residents and our partner organizations so as their problems will not stay without respond”, said Taron Margaryan.
Referring to the programs carried out in recent years Taron Margaryan noted that due to consistent and devoted work of the staff it became possible to find solutions to numerous problems. Yerevan expressed confidence that the years to come will be rich in achievements too which is guaranteed by the five-year program of Yerevan development.
“The five-year program of Yerevan development must be our working document and guideline as it was drawn up taking into account the suggestions and wishes of our residents and is aimed at the solution of the priority problems. Therefore be consistent in the realization of these programs so as to strengthen the trust of townspeople”, stressed Taron Margaryan.
