During the regular working meeting held in the City Hall of Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan turned to the problem of unfinished constructions and the areas where construction projects are provided for as they are not started.
“We periodically return to these problems but they are still there. And naturally such situation can’t satisfy us. Our position in this issue is clear: any investor, leaser or owner of unfinished construction and generally all those who have clear obligations must meet them completely. We are not obliged to endlessly endure such irresponsible treatment to the city. We must be more rigid and demanding in this issue so that the obligations will be met and if necessary appropriate measures are to be taken in the order established by the law to solve the problem completely”, stressed Taron Margaryan and instructed the Department of Urban Development and Land Control as well as the Legal Department of Yerevan Municipality and the heads of administrative districts to take corresponding steps to regulate the problems of the mentioned areas and constructions.
