Within the frames of the “Art Figure for School “ program, the famous opera singer, RA People’s  Artist Barsegh Tumanyan for two months had been holding master classes for 250 students of vocal sections of 25 municipal music and art schools.
This project is implemented by the initiative of Yerevan Municipality. The final gala-concert was held in the Chamber Music House after Komitas. The students that stood out with their talents performed on the stage. Yerevan Mayor Tigran Avinyan, Deputy Mayor Levon Hovhannisyan, art figures were present at the event.
The “Art Figure for School” initiative is not just an educational project but also a special way to teach children to feel, dream and rise.
This project is an exceptional opportunity to reveal and promote talented children in their future career, and to create new ties between art figures and out-of-school educational establishments.
At the end of the concert, the singer came up on the stage feeling proud. The moment was memorable for young musicians.
Another stage of the “Art Figure for School” project will start in autumn.
