“Yerevan summer 2018”: second children’s inclusive benevolent marathon has been held
Within the formwork of “Yerevan summer 2018” three-moth events Yerevan Municipality and “Hay Mayrer” (“Armenian mothers”) NGO organized the second children’s inclusive benevolent marathon “Children for children”.
The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Culture Ruben Hovhannisyan expressed gratitude to “Hay mayrer” NGO for devoted work and to the sponsors for the support in such an important event.
The marathon was held among the children of two age groups.
Among the children aged 3-7 the first place got Alexander Harutyunyan, the second and third places got Mane Meliksetyan and Robert Sukiasyan.
Among the children age 8-14 won Garegin Manasyan, the second and third places got Christine Mkhitaryan and Tatevik Mehrabyan. The winners were awarded with medals and prizes, and the rest of the participants got symbolic medals.
the benevolent marathon was finished with a concert.
It should be noted that the whole income from the marathon will be directed to the rehabilitation of the children with special needs who are benefitted from “Hay mayrer” NGO.
