Within the frames of “I know what to do with litter” educational program the kids of Yerevan preschool N60 are learning to sort waste.
 The "Capital Cities Collaborating on Common Challenges in Hazardous Waste Management - Yerevan, Warsaw, Tirana" project co-financed by the European Union and Yerevan Municipality is aimed at knowing how to sort waste since early childhood, at preventing its spreading, at proper waste management and the environment sustainability.
The program initiated by Yerevan Municipality will be fulfilled in all preschools. Children aged 4 and older are the target of the program of waste sorting, recycling and hazardous wastes. The initiative makes it possible for children to study via games.
Giving a second life to wastes it is possible to solve another important problem which is environmental protection.
