Within the frames of two-month Francophonia event Yerevan Municipality carries on educational and cultural actions. An interesting meeting with three French authors-Valerie Beaugot, Marion Sigo and Stephanie Bignon was organized at the municipal central library after Avetik Isahakyan. 

During the meeting these women of different professions who shared in their books their thoughts about modern challenges spoke about the aspects common for French speaking countries and the problems uniting them. The French authors considered the two-month Francophonia season to be a special opportunity and outlined that nations united by language and culture are the best proof of strong friendship between them.
The director of the central library after A.Isahakyan, Haskik Karapetyan expressed gratitude to the authors for accepting the invitation, then familiarized them with the events already held and upcoming within the scope of Francophonia days. She stressed that the events included film shows, reading of books and fairytales by celebrities, performances for children, music auditions, as well as meeting-discussions with French authors.
The guests walked about the library, familiarized themselves with the “Francophonia center” of the library.
