Corresponding subdivisions of the Municipality will go on carrying out inspections in kindergartens with the aim of providing proper quality of food, sanitary conditions, control over children’s attendance as well as to study the quality of the process of education. During the regular working conference Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to set everyday control and watch particularly the process of food catering. “I expect you to set strict control over the quality of food so that it will correspond to all standards. Any violations should be punished. This is a requirement to be met by everyone”, stressed Mayor Taron Margaryan.
The head of the Department of Building and Improvement reported that the process of asphalting and crack filling is going on in accordance with the annual program. It was also reported that in 23 streets of 25 ones the process of overhauling had been over. The head of the Department of Transport reported that the supervision over the quality of public transport service had been tightened. It was instructed to keep watching the quality of work. At the request of taxi drivers 6 more parking places have been opened in the capital. It was also reported that the new places had been selected taking into account the proposals made by the drivers. The head of the Department of Communal Services reported that the process of cleaning the streets, parks and yard areas from leaves It was instructed to tighten supervision to exclude cases of burning leaves. Within the frames of winter preparations it was instructed to close all the fountains in the capital to exclude cases of freezing. Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed to create a working group to check the fire alarm systems in educational, cultural and medical establishments subordinated to the Municipality and to eliminate defects if found. During the conference the Chief Designer of Yerevan reported that cases of vandalism towards street benches and dustbins had become more frequent recently. The service of public order protection was instructed to set tight control in teamwork with the police to exclude the cases of damaging public property. "Caring attitude of the residents is very important from the point of view maintaining the presentable look of the native city. And every program carried out by the Municipality of Yerevan in the capital is aimed at making the capital more comfortable for the residents. So, I expect our residents to be more careful and no indifferent", stressed Taron Margaryan.
