Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan met with the delegation headed by the Manager General of “Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia” Christoph Spek. Attaching importance to the cooperation between Yerevan Municipality and “Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia” Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that it is effective and has good opportunities for expansion. The Mayor of the capital also outlined that in 2018 Yerevan is going to mark its 2800th anniversary and in this context active cooperation with the private sector id anticipated.
“Yerevan Municipality attaches importance to cooperation expansion with the private sector which makes it possible to carry out different initiatives aimed at Yerevan development. In this regard we already have numerous successfully fulfilled programs and taking the readiness of the private sector to cooperate we are sure that eventually we’ll be able to carry out more and more programs. As you know, next year is a jubilee for Yerevan. We will be celebrating the 2800th anniversary of foundation of our city therefore the year will be full of events. In this regard we expect active participation of private sector I want to outline that we have offered all Armenian manufacturers to decorate their production with the jubilee logo of 2800th anniversary and our offered was accepted with pleasure. I think that your company will join to this initiative too”, said Taron Margaryan.
Expressing gratitude for warm welcome and willingness to expand the cooperation the Manager General of “Coca-Cola Hellenic Bottling Company Armenia” Christoph Spek noted that the initiative is special and the company would gladly join it.
“Mister Mayor, I want to assure you that it is a honour for us to be the full member of the community and to work for its development. I would also like to note that I am impressed with Erebuni-Yerevan celebration It was the first time I had taken part in festive events and taking the opportunity I want to express gratitude to you for providing festive atmosphere for townspeople and guests of the capital. I have been to many countries but only in Yerevan I felt the warmth and active participation of residents in various events. It is honour for our company to take part in the celebration which is so popular. I assure you that we are ready to take direct part in the event with great responsibility”, said Christoph Spek.
During the meeting the parties discussed the issues related to the expansion of bilateral programs of cooperation.
