Yerevan Zoological Garden has a new inhabitant: the bearded vulture is already one month old. This rare bird is registered in the Red Book of the animals of Armenia as an endangered species.
The recreation zone is not only enriched with new residents but is also expanded and improved. New cages, alleys, green and comfortable environment: this year the Zoo will get a new look.
The number of visitors has increased throughout the years. The director claims that the new surroundings have made the area more attractive both for local and foreign visitors.
In a few days the bus stop opposite the “Yeritasardakan” metro station will be reopened and the bus taking people to the Zoo free of charge at the weekends will be available again.
