Om March 8 public transport will be free of charge for women
On the occasion of the International Women’s Day March 8, this year for the first time women can commute by the Underground, “MAN”, “Zhong Tong”, “Higer” and “Gazel City” buses and trolleybuses free of charge.

Women of the families which have war participants, fallen or disabled, missing as well as forcibly displaced from Artsakh will get free tickets for “Gayane” ballet to be performed on the stage of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet. 15 000 women working in municipal establishments will get tickets for various cultural events.

“Kanaz” complex of culture and sport has been transferred back to Yerevan. The Municipality will initiate overhauling of the complex.

The upper segment of “Cascade” complex which has the surface of 11,5 hectares has been transferred back to the community. The construction of this segment has remained unfinished since the Soviet period. Yerevan Municipality will carry out large-scale improvement and construction development in this area due to which the “Cascade” will get a compete look.

From now on the call leaflets for urgent medical aid will be filled in electronically: the new mobile app will make it possible to download the patient’s data in a unified system. The patient’s data and the level of the emergency of the call will be registered in the new system. This will increase the quality of services and the rapidness of response.
