During the weekly working meeting in the City Hall Mayor Taron Margaryan instructed Mayor’s Chief Advisor Vano Vardanyan, related subdivisions of the Municipality and the heads of administrative districts to make preparations to organize the regular visit of the parents of the servicemen from Yerevan serving in the army in the frontier military units. The visit is scheduled for October 28 within the frames of the action involved in “Erebuni-Yerevan 2799” program.

“For 5 years at least twice a year we traditionally organize visits of the parents of fix-period servicemen from Yerevan serving in frontier zones to the military units. Accordingly, collaborating with the RA Ministry of Defence and Artsakh Army of Defence, make proper preparations for the regular visit scheduled on October 28. Pay special attention so that all the parents wishing to visit their sons and familiarize themselves with the conditions on the spot will be included in the program”, said Mayor Taron Margaryan.
It should be noted that since 2013 when this program of big social significance was initiated more than 9000 parents (1700 of which this April) has had the opportunity to visit their sons due to this program.
