Within the frames of Saint Petersburg Days held in Yerevan “Trade and economic cooperation” round table discussion took place.

The head of Yerevan Municipality Department of Development and Investment Programs Tigran Sargsyan, the first deputy chairman of the Committee for Entrepreneurship and Consumer Market of St Petersburg Lidia Gromova as well as 11 representatives of St Petersburg and 40 representatives of Yerevan companies took part in the meeting.
Presenting the investment possibilities in Yerevan and the existing investment packages the head of Development and Investment Programs Department Tigran Sargsyan introduced the approaches of the city authorities.
“In accordance with Yerevan Mayor policy, within its powers Yerevan Municipality is open and ready to support the implementation of investment programs and this factor is very important for attraction of investments. The favourable investment environment formed in the recent years is beneficial and perspective for investors. We attach importance to expansion and development of the cooperation with St Petersburg and we are sure that in near future we will have new proposals for implementation of new joint projects”, said Tigran Sargsyan.
During the meeting the rates of economic coperation between the two cities were presented as well. The importance of experience exchange was outlined within the frames of which representatives of St Petersburg companies periodically visit Yerevan. The prespectives of further mutually beneficial cooperation and implementation of joint projects were discussed during the meeting too.
