The reconstruction program for the Cascade Complex is now shifting into its practical implementation phase, following recent approval by the Government of the Republic of Armenia. Relevant agreements are to be signed with the investor to regulate matters concerning the construction of the new section of the Cascade and the alienation of adjacent land plots. Demolition work will soon commence on the existing foundations of the previously initiated, yet unfinished, constructions in the Cascade's upper section.

To mark the 150th anniversary of Avetik Isahakyan, the Yerevan Municipality announced a competition in January 2025 for the creation of a vocal-symphonic composition, specifically inspired by Isahakyan's poem “Abu-Lala Mahari”. The winning work was the oratorio titled “Abu-Lala Mahari”, which was composed by Vache Sharafyan.
