Competition for the song dedicated to Yerevan has been announced

Prior to the celebration of the 2800th anniversary of Yerevan foundation, Yerevan Municipality and the Union of Composers of Armenia announce the competition for the song dedicated to Yerevan.
Armenian and foreign composers and lyrics writers of any age can participate in the competition. Each author has the right to present one song (in any language) with maximal duration of 5 minutes. The song presented for the competition must not be performed in any project or competition.
The songs must be written in notes in clavier version and with score (recorded version is preferable). Best compositions will be performed live in the gala-concert during which corresponding awards and money prizes will be handed.
Application an be sent from March 1 till July 15 of the current year.
The first prize is 1 million Armenian drams.
The second prize is 700 thousand Armenian drams.
The third prize id 500 thousand Armenian drams.
