Yerevan Municipality hereinafter referred to as “the Employer”, intends to use part of the proceeds of a loan from the European Investment Bank towards the cost of Energy Efficiency and Thermal Building Refurbishment project for the Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction works for the municipal Kindergartens.

The Employer intends to announce tender for the following contracts to be funded from part of the proceeds of the loan:
1. Lot 1 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #36, 48, 49 kindergartens,
2. Lot 2 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #47, 78, 81, 93 kindergartens,
3. Lot 3 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #71, 74, 110, 129 kindergartens,
4. Lot 4 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #22, 23, 161 kindergartens,
5. Lot 5 Seismic upgrades, energy efficiency improvements and reconstruction of #100, 103, 108, 109 kindergartens,
Time for Completion of the Works is: 12 (twelve) months for each Lot.
The bidder have the option to bid any lot or combination of lots.
Tendering for contracts that are to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank is open to firms from any country.
Tendering for the above contract/s is expected to begin in the Q2 2020.
Contracts to be financed with the proceeds of a loan from the Bank will be subject to the EIB's Guide to Procurement. The proceeds of the Bank's loan will not be used for the purpose of any payment to persons or entities, or for any import of goods, if such payment or import is prohibited by a decision of the United Nations Security Council taken under Chapter VII of the Charter of the United Nations or under a law of official regulation of the Purchaser's country.
