Monitoring Operator
The Yerevan Traffic Management Center is seeking a Monitoring Operator who will track the operation of Yerevan’s transport system, traffic flows, and related situations, ensuring accurate data recording and timely transfer to the relevant departments.
The purpose of the position is monitoring, analytical recording, and transferring data to data analysts and operational teams.
Responsibilities
Monitor traffic conditions, public transport, stops, routes, schedules, and line status using the Center’s technical platforms, ensuring continuous information updates.
Record deviations, obstacles, non-standard situations, and unforeseen changes in transport operations in accordance with the established methodology.
Transfer data to analytical and operational teams accurately, completely, and on time.
Communicate with relevant departments when necessary to provide informational reports.
Participate in data quality improvement processes, helping ensure accuracy and completeness of traffic and transport data.
Support the analytical team in preliminary data classification, organization, and documentation.
Work in shifts, ensuring compliance with working hours and internal disciplinary rules.
Work in accordance with high standards of data confidentiality, accuracy, completeness, and timeliness.
Requirements
Higher education.
Strong analytical and logical thinking, attention to detail.
Experience in monitoring, data recording, or operator work is considered an advantage.
Ability to work with technical systems, mapping platforms (GIS / online maps), and monitoring dashboards.
Good proficiency in computer applications — MS Office / Google Workspace (especially Excel, Sheets).
Responsibility, high discipline, and ability to follow internal procedures.
Ability to quickly assess situations and make accurate recordings.
Strong commitment to maintaining data confidentiality.
Excellent command of Armenian; Russian and English desirable.
Willingness to work in a shift-based schedule.
