In 2020, Yerevan Municipality plans to give a pay rise to the employees of the music and art schools.
“More than 4000 employees of the music, art schools and children’s and youth’s centres will get 25% pay rise”, informs the head of the Department of Culture of the Municipality of Yerevan Gosh Sargsyan.
The employees of the sport and cultural centres will get 56% pay rise.
The salary increase will relate to nearly five thousand employees.
The draft of Yerevan budget provided for 2020 will soon be submitted to the Council of Elders. After its confirmation, the employees of the mentioned-above centres will get the pay rise from January 1. Besides, the Municipality plans to provide them with the medical insurance as well.
The year of 2020 will be full of cultural and sport events. The start will be given at the New Year night.
