Yerevan Mayor Taron Margaryan was present at the ceremony of opening of the new building at N6/1 Shinararneri street in Ajapnyak district. Within the frames of this program of social significance 50 more families living in the block o flats of high accident rate have been provided with safe and comfortable flats. The owners of the flats were handed the keys and the ownership certificates by Mayor Taron Margaryan who stressed once again that due to the support of the President of the Republic and consistent policy of the Municipality the problem of resettlement of the dwellers of the blocks of flats of high accident rate registered by January 1 of 2014 will be completely solved by the end of this year.
"To solve the problem of resettlement of the dwellers of the damaged blocks of flats which are to be dismantled we have put into operation 3 blocks of flats this year. The construction of this building started in 2014. Like all other building constructed with the aim of resettlement of the dwellers of the blocks of flats of high emergency by the order of the Municipality this building is put into operation ready for living. Today we have provided 50 families with new flats. The rest flats will be allotted after all documentation has been arranged. By the way, this process is currently going on and it will be over in a short time", said the Mayor. Taron Margaryan walked about the flats, congratulated the happy hosts and appreciated the work done. Expressing their delight to the Mayor the residents noted that they had been dreaming of this moment for years and today their dream came true. By the order of Yerevan Municipality the block of flats consists of 110 flats of 1,2 and 3 rooms. The aseismic stability of the building corresponds to the standards determined for Armenia. The porches of the building are available for people with locomotor disabilities. All the flats are provided with individual heating systems and are put into operation ready for living of economy class.:
"By the end of the year we are going to put into operation one more block of flats and this way we will solve completely the problem of resettlement of the dwellers of high accident rate buildings which had been registered by January 1, 2014. We can really consider it a big achievement, as we have been able to solve the important problem of 650 families. In future we will try to take measures to reinforce the buildings with different accident rates. I wish all our citizens celebrating their housewarming party today to live a healthy and happy life in their new flats", said the Mayor.
