On December 13 and 14 a New Year charity fair is held in the halls of the Municipality of Yerevan. The fair is organized by the «Association of the young women of Armenia” under the support of the Municipality of Yerevan. Greeting those present on behalf of the Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan the Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan thanked them for the participation. "At first sight this action is a festive event but it is also of charity significance: assistance to the women living provinces in their own enterprises. I wish you success in undertaking your initiatives», said the Deputy Mayor. The president of the "Association of the young women of Armenia" Lilit Asatryan presented that the assistance is carried out by the association by special programs. "The profit of this charity exhibition is to be directed at the programs carried out to stimulate the economic participation of the young women living in marzes. I'd like to express my gratitude to the Municipality of Yerevan for supporting the association", said the president of the "Association of the young women of Armenia". The exhibition includes the handmade goods produced by companies, individuals, international structures, embassies, particularly the Embassy of Brazil to Armenia. The national pavilion of Brazil is represented by Ambassador Edson Marinho Duarte Monteiro and the Embassy of Switzerland the pavilion of which is represented by the wife of the Ambassador of the country. On the whole there are 80 pavilions. 20 Syrian Armenians take part in the fair with their assortment of sweets, spices and handmade accessories. Deputy Mayor Aram Sukiasyan walked about the fair, familiarized himself with the items presented for sale and did some shopping. The entrance to the fair is free.
