The head of the Department of General Education of the Municipality Gayane Soghomonyan and the head of Arabkir administrative district Hrayr Antonyan visited the schoolchildren who were spending their summer holidays in “Aragats” summer camp in Hankavan. 30 of the schoolchildren are from Arabkir district. The head of Arabkir district made also arranged the visit of those children’s parents.
Within the second stage of the RA Government program of summer rest organization for schoolchildren 425 children from Yerevan, different marzes of Armenia, Javakhk and NKR arrived at “Aragats” camp for their summer holidays. The campers met the guests with the repetition of the performance dedicated to Vardavar feast_ with songs and sport games.
“Dear children, thank you for this interesting day. Your inspiration is the brightest proof that you are having a good time in the camp. Besides sending you to camps Yerevan Mayor also instructed to keep you under everyday control and care which can’t be provided without your parents”, said Hrayr Antonyan and divided presents to all campers on behalf of Yerevan Mayor. The program includes children from different social groups: school-age children from the families of disabled servicemen, orphans, children from needy families with many children-totally 4500 children from throughout the Republic. The program is implemented by means of the RA budget and the listing and replacement of the children is organized by Yerevan Municipality.
