The results of the assessment and analysis of the work carried out by the administrative districts in June and in the first term of 2016 were summarized during the weekly meeting in the City Hall which was conducted by Mayor Taron Margaryan. Presenting the summarized results the Mayor's Advisor Arayik Kotanjyan noted that the first place shared Davtashen and Shegavit districts, the second place shared Avan and Erebuni districts, and third place was occupied by Nor Nork. In accordance with the results for June, 2016 the 10th, 11th and 12th places were occupied by Kentron, Ajapnyak and Arabkir districts respectively.
In accordance with the date about the work done in various spheres of urban economy for the first term of 2016 the first place is occupied by Shebgavit, the second place-by Davtashen, the third place –by Avan district. By the results of the assessment and analysis for the first term of 2016, the worst results showed Kentorn, Kanaker Zeytun and Ajapnyak districts.
Expressing satisfaction with the activity of the staffs of the administrative districts shown high results Mayor Taron Margaryan noted that consistent teamwork always brings to effective results.
“We must achieve such results that all administrative districts share only three first places. The fact that there is healthy competitiveness between the districts is proven by the administrative districts shared the two highest places. The requirements and principles we follow in our work are based on the interests of our co-citizens. Residents' appreciation is the priority for city authorities”, said the Mayor of Yerevan.
Concerning the administrative districts where the low results had been fixed again Mayor Taron Margaryan considered their approaches to work unacceptable and instructed to reprimand the heads of the divisions and the coordinators for income collection in Arabkir and Ajapnyak districts.
“ I have set a clear requirement before the heads of the administrative districts: to be consistent in functions assessment. It gives us the possibility to assess the effectiveness of the work done by you in various spheres. I've mentioned many times that conclusions are to be made and concrete measures are to be taken towards the persons in charge whose inappropriate work causes the administrative districts to show low results. First of all, it's in your interest to find it unacceptable to be lagging behind because of inappropriate work of some persons. It's high time to make serious conclusions and to do your best to correct the repeated situation”, said Taron Margaryan.
Within the frames of the meeting the results of the work done by the departments and units of Yerevan Municipality staff in June and in the first half of 2016 were summarized. In this regard Taron Margaryan instructed the persons in charge to keep the effective organization of the work under permanent supervision and to ensure consistent implementation of municipal programs.
