April 7: all the fountains of the capital has been re-opened
In accordance with the tradition, as a special gift for women and girls on the Day of Maternity and Beauty all the fountains of the capital are re-opened. Numerous townspeople and guests of the capital, as well as Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Aram Sukiasyan were present at the re-opening of fountains in Republic square. A delightful surprise awaited all the females gathered in the main square of the capital: little Yerevainans congratulated them with a flashmob. Expressing gratitude for the initiatives carried out by Yerevan Municipality to turn the everyday of the capital into a real holiday, the residents of the capital and guests noted that due to permanent care the 2800-year old capital city Yerevan always stays young.
